LOW TESTOSTERONE (HYPOGONADISM)
HYPOGONADISM Commonly known as “Low T,” low testosterone in men is extremely common. In fact, by the age of 35, up to half of men have low levels of testosterone.
WHAT IS TESTOSTERONE?
Testosterone is a naturally occurring hormone produced primarily by the testicles. Testosterone is responsible for a variety of maintenance functions in men including:

- Body and facial hair
SYMPTOMS OF LOW T
Symptoms of low testosterone include low energy, moodiness, loss of muscle mass, decreased libido, weight gain and erectile dysfunction. Other symptoms may include difficulty sleeping, irritability, reduced body hair, and more.
HYPOGONADISM – DIAGNOSING LOW T
A simple blood test can check your testosterone levels. Depleted levels may require additional testing to ensure there isn’t a pituitary abnormality or other underlying health condition.

There are many benefits of testosterone replacement therapy, which can improve your quality of life as you age. Some of the benefits of testosterone replacement therapy for men include:
- Increased energy
