QUESTIONS & ANSWERS – FAQ’s

CAN YOU HAVE A VASECTOMY AND STILL GET SOMEONE PREGNANT?

Theoretically, yes. There is an extremely rare process in which the two tubes that have been cut can reconnect. That’s why it’s so important to have a semen analysis performed 6-8 weeks after a vasectomy to make sure there is no semen. It is again, theoretically possible the wrong tube was cut and one side needs to be redone. However, I can’t emphasize enough how rarely this happens.
